Despite threats, the EDL's Paul Prodromou, who uses the name Paul Pitt for his EDL duties, has extended his deadline for discussions with the EDL leadership after there has still been no response from the leadership regarding his sacking.
We have been told that nobody is available to speak to Pitt due to bail conditions set down prohibiting contact between certain individuals.
The EDL has no leader..
Pitt has now given the EDL until 1900hrs

Ade Hennesey, the foul-mouthed racist Chelsea fan and EDL supporter, has just emailed our office to complain about a blog that we wrote about him.
You would have thought that he would have wanted to apologise for his racist outburst against Man Utd winger Ashley Young. Perhaps even his threats against other Chelsea fans who complained about his racism.
But no, bully Hennesey wrote to complain about our use of his photo.
Well, we also like writing letters, so today HOPE not hate will be sending his various posts to Chelsea FC and the local police and ask them if they find them as racist and threatening as we do.
We'll also be reporting his use of copyrighted images of footballers from his facebook site to the relevant photographic agencies, unless of course he is claiming owebership of those also?

Paul Prodromou, who uses the name Paul Pitt when hanging out with his friends in the English Defence League, has issued a challenge to the leadership over his sacking from his role of South of England regional and Essex local organiser.
Plenty of people have been filling Pitt's head with rumours about the reasons for his dismissal from post, no more so than Eddie Stamton, who happens to always be on the scene when far-right Nazi groups fall out.
No doubt Eddie enough gossip to pass on while buying Hel Gower a drink on Saturday.
Our advice to Prodromou/Pitt is spill the beans, there is nothing left in the EDL to lose anyway.

It's bad enough making a temporary mistake on a cheap flag, but how about having one permanently on your neck?
This was taken at yesterday's EDL demonstration too. One wonders what Samantha's actual name really is...

Let me introduce to you Ade Hennessy, an EDL supporter from Hammersmith.
Not only does Ade support the EDL he is also a season ticket holder at Chelsea Football Club.
Hennessy, a carpenter with construction firm Harris Calnan regularly travels to watch his beloved Chelsea, including some of their European games.
During today's big match that saw Manchester United defeat Chelsea 3-2, Hennessy took exception to a foul committed by a Chelsea player on the United player Ashley Young. The Chelsea player, Branislav Ivanovic was shown the red card for the foul.
Posting on Facebook, Hennessy wrote " YOU KNOW WHO U ARE ..ASHLEY YOUNG YOUR A DIVING BLACK C**T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Yet, despite this disgusting racism, Hennessy's Facebook page is chock full of images of his footballing heroes, many of them black players such as Didier Drogba and Ashley Cole.
After Hennessy posted his foul mouthed attack he was challenged by a number of fellow Chelsea supporters including Paul Canoville, a former Chelsea player and the first black player to play for Chelsea.
Despite this, Hennessy insists he isn't a racist.
We will let the Metropolitan Police,Chelsea Football Club and Harris Calnan decide that as we will pass them all the relevant information.

Eddie Stamton is a long term British Nazi who has been in a host of groups including the NF, BNP, C18 and of course, quite a few times at HMP.
Being such an open, flag waving Nazi means of course, the EDL decided to proscribe him only when we revealed last year that Eddie (who also uses the name Stanton, Stantom, Stamtom, Stampton and Stampton) was a regular on their demonstrations.
It made no difference, and Eddie was of course, at the EDL's disastrous demonstration in London yesterday as he has been at all of their demonstrations. But yesterday, he took some exception to our blog about the EDL's public demise.
Despite Eddie being a Nazi, he bought imprisoned Fuhrer Stephen Lennon's personal assistant Hel Growler a most welcome vodka yesterday and also chipped in a fiver for Lennon's "defence fund".
How the mighty have fallen. The entire south west region of the EDL quit last night and the EDL are having to take money from a neo-Nazi to keep their leader in jam and butter while he's in nick.
At least, judging by his comments, little of Stamton's views have changed. Will whatever masters he may have be sending him to wreck another group soon?

Yesterday's news that the EDL had parted company with loyal Essex leader Paul Pitt comes as no surprise.
Pitt, whose real name is Paul Prodromou, fell victim to the absence of EDL leader Stephen Lennon and the political ambitions of stand-in EDL leader Kevin Carroll, who also doubles as a leading member in the British Freedom Party (BFP).
Pitt is the victim of a dispute between the BFP and the equally small and viral Britain First (BF), run by former BNP fundraiser Jim Dowson. Earlier this month Pitt was pictured on a BF anti-Islam demonstration in London, where it is understood he held negotiations with leading BF member Paul Golding over the BFP's failure to protect or defend EDL leader Stephen Lennon from constant attacks by the BNP's Nick Griffin.
Pitt was one of a number of people close to Lennon who felt the BFP was not capable of standing up to Nick Griffin's bullying tactics. But, If anybody could, it is Jim Dowson .
Four days after Pitt's meeting with the Britain First, Lennnon shocked the British Freedom Party by announcing he was quitting the party to concentrate on the EDL. By all accounts it even came as a shock to Lennon's cousin and joint deputy leader of the BFP, Kevin Carroll. Carroll is currently the BFP's candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner of Bedford.
Since Lennon's departure from the BFP and subsequent imprisonment, Britain First has "mysteriously" begun to stake their claim for any monies that can be raised on the back of Lennon's plight. The BFP has naturally reacted very badly to this as there is more than a little bad blood between rival officials of both parties.
The BFP's Simon Bennett gets emotional and often unstable at the mere mention of the name of his old nemesis Dowson, but has clearly learned nothing of his past run-ins with him.
On Friday afternoon Dowson responded to what he felt was a defamatory article about him on the BFP's website and served papers on a number of BF officials, including their leader Paul Weston, who Dowson will be hoping to bleed dry.
If Dowson smells cash, he'lll find it and hunt you to the ends of the earth for it. Pitt has paid the price for that.

The tinpot Combined Ex Forces like to portray themselves as true patriots devoted to the defence of our Queen and country.
In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. They hate our country and all it stands for.
Back in August, the CXF wrote on their Facebook page
"Most of us within Cxf swore a oath for our Queen even thou the c***s in government our using her and the royal family as puppets for there own political gain. That does not mean you can come on the Cxf page and slag our monarch as we our only loyal to her and not our traitourous government who will be held accountable when the time is right."
"And when this time comes our Queen or king will be without any questionable doubt will be the monarch and leader of our once great country. If you don't like these facts then fuck of , or if you would like a meet in person before hand then do not hesitate to inbox admin an we will gladly arrange it. We ourselves our very much pissed of with our so called government and there actions over our Queen and there traitourous agenda."
"Don't slag the monarch on here because your not welcome if you do."
"God Save Our Queen"
So you'd expect all of the CXF to be supportive of the monarchy wouldn't you?
Not so the diminutive Darren Lumb it seems.
Lumb, from West Yorkshire who was thrown out of the BNP following a number of "irregularities" hates the Queen and the royal family and we can prove it.
We found this interesting snippet on one of his many Facebook pages a while back and of course we like to keep things like this for a rainy day.
Let's see if the CXF live up to what they say or are they as weak as we suspect they are?

The EDL demo in Westminster has come to an end, in what has to be the lowest point so far in EDL history.
The police are starting to move them on, not before one EDL member assaults a member of the public.
They've headed back to the pub to drown their sorrows with one Northern EDL member overheard moaning "We came all the way down here and all these local c**ts didn't even bother to get out of bed".
Rumour has it that a number of EDL were arrested at Clapham Station but as of yet that is unconfirmed.

And If the news couldn't get any worse for the EDL this week it appears that the Essex/South East EDL organiser Paul Pitt aka Paul Prodromou has been booted out of the organisation.
Good to see his Essex comrades are showing him loyalty and support by actually attending the EDL demo today.

Durham EDL have just turned up, smelling of stale beer and wee. They have added about 15 to the tiny EDL numbers.
Just after they show their blotchy faces a small and noisy group of anti fascists have turned up and are currently giving them the bird.
Tourists still look confused at the EDL presence.

Well, this is embarrassing for the EDL.
The police haven't let them occupy Parliament Square as their numbers are too small, about 60 in total we are hearing now.
They have been told to hold their demo on a small bit of ground further up from the square.
Lot's of chants of "Free Tommy", but nobody seems to care too much.
One of the EDL contingent is the Neo Nazi Eddie Stampton.
Ironically they have just started chanting "Where's our fucking numbers"

They appears to be about 80 EDL in total, heading towards their demo point.
Spotted a few from Berkshire and Wednesbury amongst the stragglers.
Tourists are looking at them with some confusion.

It's quite amusing news apparently from Westminster,as I reported earlier, the EDL are holed up in the St Stevens Tavern near to Parliament.
So far we have spotted dribs and drabs from Portsmouth,Torbay,Exeter and Dudley EDL divisions.
Police don't think the EDL will actually leave the pub as the numbers are so few. Oh dear !

About an hour ago I posted a Facebook posting from EDL thug Alan Furniss.
Well, Furniss has just posted a far more sinister posting, with several well known EDL activists contributing.
Furniss has revealed that a large number of the EDL who will attend the demonstration in London tomorrow are intending to attack the police, possibly in retaliation for what happened to the EDL when they originally visited Walthamstow.
Alan Furniss explained he is currently on police bail (No surprise there) but that he intends to break bail conditions and attend the demonstration.

As another EDL demo approaches, it seems par for the course that the disgusting Alan Furniss comes out with another of his vile postings on Facebook.
Tomorrow will see the EDL return to London, however, not to Walthamstow as originally planned with the EDL being ordered to have their demo at Westminster instead.
No doubt the very obnoxious and very violent Alan Furniss, who comes from the Bexley area will be dragging his knuckles once again along the streets of our capital.

As I suggested would happen earlier, Britain First leader Jim Dowson has initiated legal proceedings for defamation against the BFP's Paul Weston.
This argument stems from an article that appeared on the BFP's website last night after Dowson tried to cash in on the back of imprisoned Stephen Lennon.
What Weston will do now is anybody's guess. At this time of the day, he's probably having a second G&T

Another exciting week in Nazi-land.
First up, our old friend Dave Jones managed to come a desperate last in a two horse election race in Todmorden last night. He’ll be disappointed. He thought he’d nailed the electorate by touring his ward, unwashed and smelling of sweat and tobacco, banging on and on about gay people getting married.
Unmarried Dave, who lives alone and without a shower, called on the services of two of London’s strangest far-right activists to help him. One was Claire Khaw, the attention seeking Chinese Nazi-apologist. The other was Jeffrey Marshall. Known as the “odd couple”, these two seem to hate unmarried mothers and disabled children as much as David hates the comforts of married life and spell-check.
I once upset David by calling him a “Village Idiot”. He protested that he did not live in a village. I would like to apologise to the idiot for that.
As we all know, the EDL is in desperate mess. Try as he might, their second in command, Kevin Carroll, just cannot keep the gang of thugs together, and continues to cause upset while trying to raise funds for cousin Stephen’s extradition fight. Let’s be very clear on this, Lennon is not a “political prisoner”. He is on remand for an alleged very serious crime and not, as some people seem to think, for writing or saying something nasty about Muslims.
If Kevin Carroll cannot keep the EDL together, then there’s not much hope that the group’s political mentor Paul Weston can, either. Paul turned up outside the wrong London prison during the week demanding to be informed about the wellbeing of “Tommy Robinson”. I’ve often hinted that Weston may not be the sharpest tool in the shed. Surely he should have known a) that Tommy Robinson’s real (prison) name is Stephen Lennon, and b) who would be the right person in the prison to ask these questions of.
If Weston cannot hold it together for Lennon, then how about his hard-man office manager Simon Bennett? No, no, you’re right…
Bennett is busily in the process of trying to reopen an old war wound he received during a face-off with Jim Dowson during their time together in the BNP. Dowson looks set to not only win this one, but allegedly the hand of fair maiden Lennon too... Expect also, Dowson to get "legal on his arse" one of our moles tells us. Nice.
Like I say, more of that soon. But if I was in the EDL, I’d make sure an aggreived Bennett did not have the opportunity to unplug our website…
In the BNP, currently doing the rounds on email is a copy of a hilarious letter that their leader Nick wrote to fellow MEPs. I will reproduce that later if there is ever a danger of a slow news day.
We did, however, ask the question how a senior BNP member who hangs around with wannabe terrorists managed to also work with impressionable young teenagers...
Wherever you are campaigning today or tomorrow, be it against the Toytown terrorists, traitors and cowards of the CxF in Rotherham or against the EDL in Parliament Square, Walthamstow and Wetherspoons, you be careful out there!

Of course, the Toytown terrorists of the CxF are coming well prepared. They will be wearing naff jackets, badges, stupid haircuts and oversized boots.
What they do not have is the actual and correct spelling of the villain of the piece, Jimmy Savile. Perhaps someone should fix it for them to have some lessons in English? English as a second language, obviously. They also spell paedophile incorrectly.
Antifascists should be there counter-protesting against these idiots.

The tiny far-right group Britain First today sent out an email to its supporters trying to get support for EDL leader Stephen Lennon.
Britain First's leader Jim Dowson is notorious for trying to raise funds off the back of a far-right disaster. When Dowson ran the BNP for Nick Griffin, Dowson made fortunes out of the BNP's 2010 General Election car-crash. To be honest, Dowson would probably get out of his own grave to sell raffle tickets.
Dowson's email to people in the EDL, BNP, BFP, NF etc, etc has upset greatly Lennon's "friends" in the smaller do-nothing British Freedom Party (BFP), in particular Simon Bennett who runs their website.
Upon receiving news of Dowson's email, Bennett immediately took to the web to warn of the dangers of Dowson. And Bennett should know, when both he and Dowson were in the BNP, Dowson decided that Bennett was surplus to requirements and an expensive and temperamental "luxury" the party did not need to pay the monies that they were.
It all boiled down to commissions and Bennett was so upset, he threw aside his "morals" and indeed his "commitment" to saving this great nation, and pulled the plug on the BNP website on the eve of the elections.
Of course, Bennett probably does not know about secret discussions that have been going on, which we will reveal in the next edition of our magazine Hope Not Hate. The story will probably send poor old Simon over the edge...
Looks like Stephen Lennon is in the middle of another sandwich tonight.

Dale Oakley, son of vicious Neo Nazis Jez & Jackie Oakley has just been released from prison after a racist attack on two Asian men. You can read more about that here.
Joe Ormsby, from nearby Batley has a plan that will probably appeal to Oakley and all the other racists in the EDL.

The EDL's political wing, the British Freedom Party, is beginning to threaten people who are calling for a change of EDL leadership.
Simon Bennett (seen here looking menacing) is the temperamental back-office gimp at BFP headquarters who has apparently been issuing threats to people.
But be aware. If he does not get his way, he has a habit of pulling the plug on projects and just walking away. He did it to the BNP on the eve of the 2010 General Election, just one of the disasters that helped destroy the party.
Elsewhere, the EDL have made veiled threats at the Toytown terrorists of the Combined Ex-Forces after they filmed a short (but amusing) video outside the imprisoned EDL leader's favourite watering hole in Luton yesterday. After the EDL responded in anger to it, the tough Toytown terrorists hastily removed it.
This comes on the back of further fury when some bright spark also released Lennon's prison contact details.
When all of these morons finally meet up with each other in or around Walthamstow on Saturday, onlookers would do well to bring some warm, comfortable clothing.
The kind often advised for firework displays.

No doubt the EDL are not planning on exercising their limited brain power, though it seems 'Ivan Humble' is hoping to infiltrate the meeting.

With EDL leader Stephen Lennon aka Tommy Robinson and even possibly, Paul Harris, enjoying free board and porridge courtesy of the British tax payer, cousin Kevin Carroll has been throwing his own weight around.
Since finding a shirt and tie that fits, 'Big Kev' has conducted himself in statesman-like terms when addressing the EDL membership. Kev's prime task since Lennon's incarceration has been to empty beer tokens from the pockets of the remaining EDL supporters to help fund Lennon's louche life style now he's not around to do it himself.
In true EDL fashion, these things are best done in a ranting and illiterate fashion with a hint of biblical bastardry and, of course, self promotion:
First comes the slap on the back for the dwindling army of thugs. "There aren't enough words in the English dictionary that can describe the bravery of genuinely loyal and patriotic EDL members," writes Carroll on the EDL website.
Here at HNH we can assume he has only the Oxford Junior edition of the English dicitionary. But still, even that edition has magic words like lumpen and thug in it. Kevin must try harder if he wants to be a Police Commissioner. And maybe get a thesaurus too.
But then Kev continues the fine EDL tradition of laying into his critics without naming them, thereby increasing the drug and booze fuelled paranoia that runs through the organisation; in Carroll's words "somewhat tempered with a disturbing reality."
The reality is, not only has Casuals United boss Jeff Marsh (unsurprisingly) begun a campaign to replace Lennon, some inside the organisation are "intent on ruining our grass roots street movement, people with alternative agendas, people serving the interests of groups who want to ride on the back of our success, people who want to entice our members to serve a different goal, a different agenda, they spread their poison and their gossip amongst the rank and file of the EDL, they are vermin."
Strong stuff. Describing rats leaving the sinking ship as vermin is also accurate. But he's not finished. "Since Tommy has been remanded these false patriots have decided to escalate their campaigns of divide and rule, they spread disinformation, they call for new leadership..." Basically, the very things that Jeff Marsh has been doing since the EDL began.
Kevin's biggest gripe is that these same people may be blocking money getting to Lennon, the very lad who "is on his arse on remand with no money, no legal council, no legal aid, his family living in fear on a daily basis, his children threatened, his wife threatened.."
I'm sure the hundreds of victims of EDL violence around the country are desperately sorry to hear this. Or this even: "Tommy and I live in a town with 50,000 Muslims, most of whom would almost certainly love to see us dead or beaten to a pulp." I mean, come on Kevin, what about those Muslims that have to live in a town with EDL thugs on the roam?
And whatever did happen about that mysterious gun attack on Kevin's home?
In response to Carroll's statement, Essex EDL had what may be called a major sense-of-humour failure. They have been the most violent and loyal of EDL divisions, but it seems they are not happy. In a response to Carroll's statement, they wrote: "We in essex have stood for three years without your help yet remained true to the EDL dont destroy THAT OR YOU WILL OSE ONE OF THE MOST LOYAL AND ACTIVE DIVISIONS ON THE SOUTH NFSE."
That's shouting talk, too. And then up went a facebook page (for this is where these things happen) calling for Essex leader Paul Pitt to be installed as leader.
The EDL is nothing but a refuge for idiots.

Some people are unaware or ignorant that the EDL run their business on social media. Obviously no telephones exist in the EDL.
For the past three years, the EDL have been complaining that the streets are over run with radical Muslims extremists and they should all be in prison.
The EDL's leader Stephen Lennon then gets a well deserved break with free porridge and soap thrown in, and guess what?
That's right. It appears there are too many Muslim extremists in prison too. Perhaps for his safety, Lennon could go on the special wing put aside for particular prisoners that need extra care and protection from the rest of the population.
For reference, he could ask his old friend Richard Price perhaps, how things work on that wing.

It's rare you get to see Molloy without his old army beret on, allegedly because he gets teased by the bigger boys in the BNP because of his hair.
Given the behaviour of the BNP of late, and the ongoing threats to both the Prime Minister and the police in this country by their close friends in the CxF, one does have to wonder whether it is right that Pete Molloy is allowed anywhere near impressionable teenagers.
And yet Molloy, who hangs out with wannabe terrorists and racists, has been appointed "drill sargeant" for the Armt Cadet Force detachment in Spennymoor, County Durham.
Questions should, and will, be asked.

Apologies for being a little late. We decided to hold over the far-right roundup because, like most of the free world, we were waiting for Mr Stephen Yaxley-Lennon’s spectacular crash and burn on Saturday afternoon.
The hunt inside the EDL appears to be well and truly on to find out whose loose lips sunk their removal ship that had 53 of England’s finest lined up by plod on Saturday afternoon. Everyone in the EDL is blaming “Babs”, and most certainly not any coked up idiot with a large gob and a bottle of Smirnoff attached to their paw. Fair play, though I doubt we’ll see any EDL members making a last ditch Rudolf Hess style peace flight just yet.
One should also expect to see the BNP’s Nick Griffin offering statesman-like legal advice to the 53 motorway sheep.Griffin’s immortal words will be “say nothing, act tough”, which is stock-standard Griffin advice. Unless, of course, he’s actually given the opportunity to perform a one-man Aria himself.
Instead of “far-right roundup”, this column should have been called “Idiot of the week”. Desperate Nick Griffin led the charge for the gold medal for most of the week with some good old fashioned ‘queer-baiting’, while at the same time hoping that nobody recalled the allegations that Nick himself is allegedly no stranger to man-love. Google it if you have to. It’s amusing reading.
While Griffin got his desired fifteen minutes more of infamy, his mini-me in the BFP, the frightfully posh but unimportant Paul Weston, has sent his minion Michael Wood on to Twitter to deny that Weston was in the EDL’s ill-fated party heading to London on the weekend. If regular readers could let us know if you spotted Weston at any of your regular backyard boozefests, we’d be most grateful.
It would appear that a few more EDL members have been getting their doors taken off their hinges by the constabulary this morning, and one suspects this will continue for at least as long as the EDL remain an (dis)organised army of drug addled nonentities and thugs.
Elsewhere, Andrew Brons MEP announced that he was finally quitting the BNP. I’m sure most of you assumed he already had long ago, and has been living in a retirement home somewhere. He has. It’s called Brussels.
Our old friend Jim Dowson also took a break from harassing Muslims to concentrate on his pastime of harassing young women outside abortion clinics last week. Jim is now described by the Irish press as a “millionaire”. I bet that is cold comfort to women who have to endure his abuse.

He also claims he has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting the Luton based Islamic extremist Sayful Islam.

It's been quite a day at the HOPE not hate office. At 9am we asked our supporters to co-sign a letter to the Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire Police. An amazing 7,000 people have done just that.
We have continued to encourage people to leave messages in our Get Well book for Malala Yousufzai, the 14-year-old who was shot in the head by the Pakistani Taliban for campaigning for girls to be educated. Almost 6,000 people have left messages.
We are also running a campaign in the North East to voice our disappointment over Newcastle United's decision to only give a three-match ban for a fan who repeatedly directed antisemitic abuse at visiting Tottenham fans in August. Almost 500 people in the North East have co-signed our letter.
Away from social networking, we have been hard at work putting the finishing touches to our campaign weekend, to be held on 3 and 4 November. HOPE not hate activists will be out in Bedforshire and Manchester, and possibly also Croydon and Middlesbrough for the pending Police Commissioner elections and parliamentary by-elections.
In between all that we have been putting the final touches towards the next issue of HOPE not hate. It is going to be an absolute corker of an edition. I think the best yet.
I would just like to say thanks for everyone who has helped out today. I don't know many people retweeted our messages on twitter today but it must have been hundreds.

Following Nick Griffin's comments on Twitter last night you would have thought he might have wanted a bit of peace and quiet today ?
For those that missed all the action last night, Nick Griffin's Twitter account was temporarily suspended after he made a number of postings regarding a gay couple at the centre of a landmark legal case.
Michael Black and John Morgan had just won a ruling that they had been discriminated against by a B&B owner who refused to let them stay in a double room at their premises in Berkshire because they were a gay couple.
Griffin printed the couples address on Twitter calling for a demonstration outside their house and a visit from a "British Justice Team"
This created a huge show of revulsion directed at Griffin and the BNP and a large number of Twitter users reported his comments to the police.
Overnight Twitter closed down his account and removed the posting that included the couples address.
Griffin's actions are all over the national media, which I'm fairly sure was the purpose of his actions in the first place.
Griffin told BBC 5 Live this morning that he believed discrimination was a "fundamental human right".
He continued "I said we will be holding a demonstration in Huntingdon. It doesn't necessarily mean outside their house."
Cambridgeshire Police are investigating the Twitter incident in liaison with Dyfed-Powys Police, the force where Griffin lives.
Unfortunately, Griffin's Twitter account is back up and running and he has returned to posting offensive racial stereotypes about black people and criminality.
I'd say these postings today are probably guilty of incitement to commit racial hatred and also step over the line of legality.
Let's not forget, these comments come from Nick Griffin, convicted criminal, currently under investigation by at least two police forces !

This morning has started with a bang. Our letter to Cambrdigeshire Police has been co-signed by 2,200 people in just one hour.
We are also about to send a letter to Newcastle United over the leniant three-match ban handed out to a fan who gave nazi salutes and gesticulated to turning on gas taps to visiting Spurs fans. Several hundred people from across the north east have co-signed this letter.
We have more to come but in the meantime, please add your name to our letters:

Over 850 people have co-signed our letter to Cambridgeshire police calling for Nick Griffin to be held accountable for hate crime - and we only sent out the email 15 minutes ago!
This is what our LGBT officer wrote:
"Nick Griffin had his twitter account temporarily suspended last night after he posted the address of a Gay couple who had won their case against discriminating B&B owners. And to make matters worse Griffin called for direct action to be taken on the Gay couple.
I’m angry about this as it’s hate crimes awareness week and the team at HOPE not hate and so many other organisations have been doing our best to explore the issues around hate crime. It angers me that as we prepare to gather on Saturday evening in Trafalgar Square to hold a vigil for victims of hate crime that Nick Griffin goes online to, quite frankly, incite it."

The BNP is a breeding ground for hate. Those who think the party is simply racist don't know the half of it. Griffin's party's hate is indiscriminate, it knows no bounds and it has no sympathy. That’s why, at 12pm today, I’m sending the letter to the police.
In 1999 David Copeland planted the nail bomb in the Admiral Duncan pub that killed three people dead and injured many many more. And Copeland would have killed more if his bomb in the heart of London’s black and Asian communities had detonated to plan. Copeland, a former BNP member, told police that he wanted to start a race war so white people would vote in a BNP Government.
David Copeland wasn't born with hate inside him, it was fed to him and nurtured to manifest. Organisations like the BNP who create and incite hate need to start taking responsibility for what they create and who they harm.
So I call on Nick Griffin to be legally accountable to any hate crime that Michael Black and John Morgan face in light of his twitter comments.
Let’s hold Griffin to account for inciting hatred
I’m sending the letter at 1pm so please co-sign it by then

Now, he may be telling the truth here.
But then again, it is Tommy, isn't it?

Jim Dowson, the Belfast based fascist, has today been at the forefront of large demonstrations in Belfast against the opening of an abortion clinic there.
A controversial and unpleasant character, Dowson is the pit of all dubious far-right funding in the UK. His lust for publicity seems to have no limit.
Dowson turned up at the demonstrations as a self proclaimed "Christian" minister as well as the head of another organisation that he claims to lead, 'The UK Life League'.
Dowson and his supporters then headed to Stormont to continue their protest where he told our photographer to "piss off" when asked about his far-right views and activities.

Following yesterdays revelations about Andrew Brons MEP resigning from the BNP, I would have thought 24 hours later we would be reporting a plethora of smears and insults directed at Brons from BNP chairman Nick Griffin.
Also, it appears that Griffin's one time loyal servant Clive Jefferson has been sacked from his role as National Elections Officer. Jefferson was dismissed after a string of BNP failures at the ballot box.
Again I would have thought Griffin would be pushing his usual spin, trying to cover up the fact that Jefferson was a useless numpty.
Griffin has remained unusually silent, nothing, not a titter, nada.
According to the Brons camp, they have a few aces up their sleeve which they intend to play within the next few weeks.
Should be interesting times.

Two days ago I sent out an appeal to our supporters to sign a Get Well book for Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani girl who is in a Birmingham hospital recovering an assassintation attempt by the Taliban. Her crime was to campaign for education for girls.
We felt that Malala should be a symbol of our resistance to hatred and that is why we want to let her know that we all want her to recover. One copy of the Get Well book was to be delivered to the Birmingham hospital where she was being treated and another to the Pakistan High Commission.
3,814 people have now signed our Get Well book and there have been some really inspiring messages written.
We will be closing the book on Friday so it'll be great if we can add as many names as possible by then.
Please do send a Get Well message to Malala. If you have done so then please encourage your friends to do likewise.

It seems that Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons are squaring up for a right old battle for supremacy of the British far right.
A few hours ago Brons announced on his website that he was leaving the BNP. Now we hear news that one person, considered loyal to Brons, has been removed from Griffin's European staff. We also understand that Griffin is huddled with his few remaining supporters trying to figure out who is still loyal to him and who will be feeding information to the Brons camp.
Meanwhile, the four Parliamentary by-elections coming up in the next few weeks offer Brons' camp a chance to flex their muscles. The BNP has already announced candidates for Manchester Central and Corby and East Northants, both of which will be contested on 15 November. The two other parliamentary by-elections will be in Croydon North and Middlesbrough but neither of these have been called, though the Croydon election is also likely to be in mid-November.
Croydon and Middlesbrough will almost certainly be contested by Brons' new party, as they have supporters in both areas, but it remains to be seen if they can act quickly enough to find candidates and start campaigns in Manchester and Corby.
HOPE not hate will be campaigning in each of these areas.

Yorkshire and Humber MEP Andrew Brons has today resigned from the BNP and is poised to launch a new party with others who have left the BNP over the last few years.
The new party is expected to be called the British Democratic Party and it will be an amalgamation of several small groupings on the British far right.
The idea of a new party first emerged in the Spring of 2011 when barrister Adrian Davies registered a party with the electoral commission in anticipation that Brons would break with the BNP. But time and again Brons bottled it but it seems his patience has finally run out.
In his resignation statement Brons cites his treatment at the hands of party leader Nick Griffin rather than any political differences. That's quite lucky really because the new party will include some of the most hardline racists, antisemites and Holocaust deniers in the UK.
The new party might describe itself as 'Democratic' but with the toxic gaggle of extremists within it it will be anything but.

Yesterday we opened a Get Well book for Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old from Pakistan who was shot in the head by the Taliban for daring to campaign for girls to be educated.
To us at HOPE not hate she symbolised HOPE over hate and the struggle against hatred and organised intolerance.
And it seems as if many of our supporters agree. So far just over 3,000 people have signed our Get Well book, a copy of which we will deliver to the hospital where she is staying and another to the Pakistan High Commission.
Among the messages in the book are the following:
"Hello Malala, I am so sorry that they did this to you but you are an inspiration. They have though scored an own goal as now the whole world knows about you and your fight for education for women and girls.
"Get well and we are here for you"
"You are a brave young lady. We are all praying for you to recover. Remember that the you have given hope to all the youth of Pakistan. Hurry up and get better xx"
"I hope that your dreadful experience will have one good result - the mobilisation of the population in your country against the Taliban and its inhuman, hatef-filled suppression of women, and a realisation in the rest of the world of what you and others are doing for women's emancipation."
"Hope you get better soon. You are a brave and strong young woman who is an inspiration to others. Never forget the power you can show by resisting unfair treatment.
"I am a teacher and my form class wish you all the best as well."

On Saturday, Liverpool was once again blighted by the appearance of a menagerie of tinpot racists.
The Combined Ex Forces along with members of the National Front turned out onto Liverpool streets with the intention of disrupting the annual James Larkin march.
The rag tag army of bigots like to portray the march as a pro IRA march, when in reality it is to commemorate the life of the Liverpool born trade unionist James Larkin.
Following a failed attempt to stop this years march, the far right group vented their spleen on their Facebook page, with most of their complaints directed toward the police.
Most disturbing of all however is the comment made by CXF supporter Andrew Burne who declares that the police, their homes and families should now be deemed as "legitimate targets".

As I write this email Malala Yousafzai is on her way to the UK for emergency medical attention. This brave 14-year-old from Pakistan is fighting for her life after being shot in the head by the Taliban for daring to campaign for girls to be educated.
The shooting has shocked Pakistan and tens of thousands have taken to the streets to condemn the shooting and support her calls for greater rights for girls and women.
Meanwhile Malala is on her way to the UK and we want to send her our best wishes
The attempted assassination of Malala highlights the worldwide struggle between HOPE and hate. From the persecution and harassment of minorities in the UK to the genocidal killing fields of East Africa; from Governments trying to outlaw homosexuality in several countries to the religious extremists who are trying to impose their worldview on believers and non-believers alike – there is just too much hate in this world.
Malala should be a symbol of our resistance to hatred. That is why we want to let her know that we all want her to recover. We will deliver one copy of the Get Well book to the hospital and another to the Pakistan High Commission.
Tell Malala we are thinking of her
This week has been designated Hate Crimes Awareness week and HOPE not hate has created a special website to look at hate crime. Each day this week we will put up a number of articles by organisations helping victims and trying to reduce hatred in our society. There will be a daily discussion point and people will be invited to give us their thoughts. Today we ask why victims of hate crime appear so reluctant to report the incident to the police.
Tomorrow, two leading British Paralympic stars give their views on whether this summer’s Paralympics has changed attitudes towards disability.

Just 36 hours after sending out an email to supporters asking for their opinion as to whether the British National Party should contest the Police and Crime Commissioner elections, Nick Griffin has announced on twitter that the BNP will be boycotting them.
Of course Griffin's decision comes as little surprise as HOPE not hate understand the decision to not contest the elections was actually made several weeks ago. His email on Friday evening was just a cover to reduce some of the flak the decision will inevitably get from members.
All the same, their decision says a lot about the state of the BNP today. Griffin uses low turnout as an excuse but of course this should actually benefit hardline law and order [sic] parties like themselves.
Griffin also claims that it would cost £100,000 to contest just half of the 41 Police and Crime Commissioner elections. But who says they would have had to stand in 20? They could have just stood in a few high profile areas such as Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and the West Midlands to create headlines. But it seems that even the deposit for a just a few contests seemed beyond their control.
Despite what Griffin says, the BNP is not currently able to contest national elections.
That leaves UKIP, the English Democrats and British Freedom Party as the right wing parties contesting these elections.

A few days ago I set out HOPE not hate’s campaigning activities for the next month. These included the Police and Crime Commissioner elections in Bedfordshire, a number of parliamentary by-elections and the start of our campaign in Doncaster to remove the English Democrat Mayor.
We are looking to produce tabloid newspapers in Bedfordshire, where the deputy leader of the EDL, Kevin Carroll, is standing for the British Freedom Party, and the Manchester Central by-election. We also want to produce leaflets for the two other parliamentary by-elections in Croydon and Corby and an introductory leaflet in Doncaster.
I am delighted to say that we have so far raised £2,622.69 towards our campaign costs. This is a tremendous achievement and has been made by 161 people donating an average of £16.29.
However, there is more to go. Our targets are £5,000 for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections; £2,000 for Manchester Central and £1,000 in Doncaster. Every penny raised will go towards our campaigns costs so please do try to make a donation:

BNP leader Nick Griffin has just sent out an email for supporters asking them for their views about whether the party should contest the Police and Crime Commissioner elections. The email gives a list of reasons why they should and then a similar number of reasons why they shouldn't.
One could say that this is a fair way to come to a decision. The only problem is that with nominations closing in a few days it is a little bit too late to start having this discussion.
I understand that the BNP leadership has already decided against standing but as it has come under pressure from some of its supporters it is having to find a way of claiming that no standing is the popular choice.

As the Rotherham police are trying their hardest to get the EDL out of their town, It seems the EDL aren't as keen to leave.
The EDL have been coralled at the train station in what appears to be a stalemate.
Never fear, the good old Section 27 is near, with the police issuing the order to all the remaining EDL members at the station.
One rather young and foolish EDL member decided it would be a good idea to throw his Section 27 order away, which promptly saw him being arrested.
Is it any wonder the EDL contingent are violent when today's proceedings have been organised by the violent thug Bryan "Clint" Bristow from Doncaster?

The EDL have decided that standing around surrounded by coppers isn't their idea of a typical Saturday afternoon.
So they attempt to make their own forms of entertainment, albeit with a violent twist.
Bottles have been thrown towards the police horses and the EDL are attempting to break some of the barriers, with the hope of inflaming the situation.

There are about 300 EDL in total, no doubt the EDL leadership of Tommy & Kevin will attempt to put a spin on this fact.
No sooner as the march starts it is held up by the police for some reason.
They are allowed to set of soon after, only to find that their march has come to an end at the town hall, some 200 yards away from the starting point.
They are now listening to their usual nonsensical speeches whilst being penned into a compound and surrounded by police and police vans.
Another fun day for the EDL !

With the EDL due to move off in 10 minutes there are about 100 EDL stood outside The County pub with a large number of bystanders looking on.
However, it is quite a large pub and with another pub open just up the road it's quite difficult to tell how many EDL there are in total.

Lots of the town centre is closed or intends to close early, which will no doubt hit the already struggling small businesses in the town.
There is already a heavy police presence, with the UAF organised counter demonstration a fair distance away from the EDL.
The first group of EDL are currently in The County Pub, already drunk from their journey, they start to sing offensive songs outside in the beer garden.
One eye witness says there are approximately 200 EDL in the town at present, but we will get a better idea of the numbers later on.

Last week my colleague Nick Lowles kick-started a campaign to do something about the incredibly poor response by Newcastle United Football Club to a very disturbing incident at their ground earlier this year.
Nick and many others were disappointed with the failure of Newcastle United to deal severely with a fan who directed antisemitic abuse at visiting Tottenham Hotspur fans on 18 August. The fan abused visiting fans by repeatedly giving a Nazi salute and motioning with his hands as though he was turning on the gas, a sick reference to Hitler's gas chambers.
Nick's action has prompted the usual angry response from the morons at the EDL, who have long given up pretending that they even believe their own lies that they are some kind of "non-racist" gang of drunken thugs.
One drunken thug in particular is upset and that is Alan Spence who is the biggest of cheeses in Newcastle EDL. And of course, a racist thug too.
Last December Spence was jailed along with others for an attack on the Tyneside Irish Centre.
You can upset most EDL members by being black, Asian, Muslim, gay, Jewish, progressive, educated, caring, law-abiding or any other working part of modern Britain.
Spence obviously does not mind a bit of Antisemitism. After all, he was a bodyguard to Nick Griffin for long enough to know that there is a massive Jewish conspiracy to stop people behaving like thugs at football grounds and that the Muslims are in on it too. And the blacks, and gays, and the progressives etc, etc.....
He must have had a terrible night last night what with three of England's goals being scored by a black footballers'. I suggest Spence moves to another country entirely.

Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Yaxley Lennon, leader of the English Defence League has just announced that he is standing down as joint deputy leader of the miniscule British Freedom Party.
Posting on his Twitter account he wrote " I have today resinged(sic) from my position with #Britishfreedom i wish to concentrate on edl. i dont have the passion 4 anything but #edl"
"A full statement will be released later. I still wish kev etc the best. Just not for me."
Kev is of course Kevin Carroll, who is the other joint deputy leader and BFP candidate in the forthcoming Bedfordshire Police Commissioner election.
Speculation is rife over the real reason for his sudden resignation with the most likely explanation the fact that he has several court cases soon to be heard, with any possible guilty verdicts being potentially embarrassing for British Freedom.
When questioned on Twitter by a supporter, Robinson seemed to accept that the EDL was possibly a busted flush.
CamHendo wrote "@EDLTrobinson I have nothing but respect for you but the EDL are going nowhere, Demonstrations are doing nothing, its all about the politics"
Tommy's telling reply was "@_camhendo i agree. But for me to stand in politics it could only be under the banner edl. As i said i wasn't for me."

We've just put up an open letter to the Chief Executive of Newcastle United and the Chief Constable of Northumberland Police expressing our disappointment over the weak action taken against a fan who direct disgusting antisemitic abuse at visiting Spurs fans on 18 August. We are calling on our supporters to co-sign the letter and encourage their friends to do likewise.
Football has made huge strides in recent years to eradicate racism from the game but, as recent incidents involving John Terry and Luis Suarez prove, it has not gone away completely. While campaigns such as Kick it Out, Show Racism the Red Card and the Holocaust Educational Trust do a great job in using football to teach anti-racism to young people we expect clubs to be robust in tackling racism inside the ground.
That is what we are so disappointed with the failure of Newcastle United to deal severely with a fan who directed antisemitic abuse at visiting Tottenham Hotspur fans on 18 August. This fan decided to abuse visiting fans be repeatedly giving a Nazi salute and motioning with his hands as though he was turning on the gas, a sick reference to Hitler's gas chambers.
This man obviously thought that his antisemitic abuse was funny. Fans around him did not and to their great credit they made a complaint and later identified the culprit to the police. The man was arrested and immediately admitted to his actions. The police and the club's head of security promised though action.
Job done, or so we thought.
So you can imagine the anger of the fans who complained when they learnt that the antisemitic bigot received a caution from the police and has only been banned for the next three games. Sorry, this is not good enough and we are writing to the Chief Constable and Newcastle United's Chief Executive Derek Lambias to say as much.
Please add your name to our letter http://action.hopenothate.org.uk/not-good-enough
We accept that we will never totally eradicate racism from football or indeed society. But what we do expect is that where it surfaces the relevant authorities deal with it properly. A three match ban does not send out the right message.
Recently Newcastle banned two teenagers for three seasons for sending racist tweets, so why the leniency in this case? I actually think this is worse. For someone to pretend to turn on taps to signify the gassing of Jews demonstrates a deeper political understanding and hatred.
A three match ban is not good enough http://action.hopenothate.org.uk/not-good-enough
We might not be able to extent this antisemite's ban but we hope that our letter will send a clear message to the police and the club that we expect more from them in the future.

The US right just can't help themselves. With just a few weeks to go until the Presidential elections the Tea Party are once again peddling the lie that Obama is a Muslim.
The latest offering comes from Judson Phillips, a leading figure in Tea Party Nation. In a blog posted overnight he pretends to have had an open mind on the issue - until now. Citing a blog by Jerome Corsi, who wrote the politically incendiary “Unfit for Command” about John Kerry in 2004, Judson reviews the evidence.
According to Corsi, Obama's wedding ring carries Arabic script for the first phrase of the Islamic Declaration of faith which beings, “There is no God but Allah.” Corsi goes on to quote experts who said that kind of jewellery would be worn by someone with a close connection to Islam.
That's all the evidence Phillips needs. And he concludes by asking whether it all matters:
"It actually does.
"All Muslims may not be our enemies but all of our enemies are Muslims. We live in an era of an aggressive Islamic resurgence. There are calls for a world wide caliphate and even calls that American rights that offend Muslims be curtailed, lest we offend them.
"Americans are entitled to have a President who has his undivided loyalty to the United States of America. Some Muslims believe it is their duty to work to establish an Islamic state. Some believe in the strict applications of Sharia law.
"Barack Obama’s beliefs are fair game. As he said, a President’s life should be an open book. Unfortunately the drive by media shows no interest in asking the hard questions that need to be asked and don’t expect them to be asked anytime in the next month."
The Islamophobes are it again. They just can't help themselves.

Nick Griffin must have been on some dubious high energy drinks of late. Not only has he been fighting a war at home against the EDL which has turned up the odd humorous headline and one-liner, he appears to have been waging a one-man battle to reignite conflict in Northern Ireland.
This dangerous quest, the roots of which lie, it would appear, in a series of difficulties that he has had historically with both Republicans and some Loyalists, now sees Griffin on the very real brink of finally over-stepping the mark. There is a very real danger that Griffin is bringing very real trouble to his own party's doorstep.
It's not unusual for British fascists to poke their noses into the goings on in Northern Ireland. Griffin has been doing it for years since he was both in the National Front and now the BNP. His motivation has been mixed; occasionally wanting to make friends with the religious Catholic right and at other times to make friends with Protestant, Loyalist paramilitaries. The overriding motivator for Griffin has always been power, notoriety, influence and of course, cash.
Since Griffin fell out with an alleged Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) aligned printer he has been wary about his time spent in the province. On his rare visits there, he seems to either court or attract controversy.
The UVF aligned Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) have been hugely critical of Griffin and the BNP. And sources in Belfast claim that Griffin has been desperately trying to send signals to their rivals in the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) that he is politically important to Loyalism.
Yesterday an Irish newspaper exclusively named and shamed a BNP member in Northern Ireland that had been handing out leaflets with the BNP leader on his recent visit as a convicted sectarian murderer. Griffin has not responded to the claim. It's claimed that the alleged killer was part of a mob who beat a 35 year-old Catholic man to death with lumps of wood in 1992.
Entering the fray yesterday also was one "Mad Dog" Johnny Adair. Adair is one of the most controversial and hated people to emerge from the troubles in Northern Ireland. A rabid and hated Loyalist, Adair is currently living away from the province under the threat of being murdered by almost every Loyalist and Republican paramilitary group.
We revealed last year that Adair's estranged wife was already active with members of the British far-right, while Adair has aligned himself with the likes of Paul Ray who, like Griffin, is in dispute with the EDL.
Adair said yesterday that he was going to join the BNP. He also said he admires Griffin. Adair has a long history with the far-right and marched with the NF in Belfast in the 80's when marchers openly sniffed glue while chanting sectarian songs. Later, Adair was to perform at Griffin’s family farm in Norfolk as part of a white-power band.
If Adair does go ahead and join the BNP, not only would it upset the UDA, who are having a regular bout of internal squabbles at the moment, but the rival UVF would be likely to combust with anger and rage. They have not forgiven Adair for helping to promote their lunatic splinter group the LVF which led to internecine murders between all three Loyalist Paramilitary groups.
This is a dangerous time to be crossing lines. Griffin is on the brink of doing just that.

The National Fronts Essex organiser and "Head of Media" attended a political rally last month hosted by the German Neo Nazi party the NPD.
Bernadette Jaggers attended the Nazi beanfeast held in the town of Stendal in the Saxony-Anhalt region of Northern Germany.
Jaggers was a guest Sigrid Schüssler, the president of the Ring Nationaler Frauen, the NPD’s womens’ organisation.
The National Front are hoping to improve links between themselves and the NPD, which will probably anger Nick Griffin and the BNP as they believed they had a good relationship with the German party.

Today's YouGov poll into the English Defence League (EDL) (http://extremisproject.org/) tells us little we didn't know yet a lot about what we need to know.
The key findings are interesting. A third of people know what the EDL is all about. Slightly more, 42%, have heard of the EDL but do not know what it stands for. A quarter of the population have never heard of the EDL.
Of those who have heard of the EDL only 11% said they would consider joining while 85% say that would never support the EDL.
Asked if the EDL was racist, an overwhelming 75% agreed while just 17% said it was not.
Even amongst the 23% of people who knew what the EDL stood for and sympathised with their aims many object to its methods. This confirms earlier reports, such as our own Fear and HOPE survey (http://www.fearandhope.org.uk/), which showed that violence contaminated the extremist message.
The poll confirms a lot we already knew, principally that the EDL is considered to be a racist and violent organisation by the vast majority of those people who know of it. It is a toxic brand but far from being a household name.
However, I think we need to caution against complacency. The EDL is just three years old and given it has never contested elections it is only known from newspaper reports of its demonstrations and other violent activities. I actually think that 75% have heard of the EDL, even if not everyone knows of its objectives, is a surprisingly high figure.
While only 11% of the 33% who know of the EDL and its politics would considering joining, that actually equates to 3% of the population - substantially higher than the current polling level of the BNP. And this is people who would consider 'joining' the EDL.
More worryingly, almost a quarter of the 33% have some sympathy with the EDL cause, if not it's objectives, which equates to just over 7% of the population. This is worryingly high but perhaps not surprising given the strength of anti-Muslim prejudice in the country.
So, does this mean that the EDL can ever attract 7% support? Highly unlikely. This is because, as those behind the research point out, it is a toxic brand and its association with violence scares off many people who would perhaps sympathise with their political goals. And given the current state of the EDL this is not only unlikely to change but the move towards a more violent and hardline strategy of an increasing number of EDL supporters is likely to alienate itself even further from its potential supporter base. And so the EDL is caught in a vicious cycle, because as it loses its respectability it becomes even more hardline and violent.
I recently wrote an essay about the state of the far right (http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/where-now-for-far-right/) in which I warn against a rise in racist and political violence, largely because EDL activists have become radicalised through their involvement in the group and so, in the process, are becoming frustrated with the leadership's drive for respectability and desire to get involved in electoral politics.
The YouGov poll confirms much of what we knew about the EDL but it should warn us all that a marginalised, toxic group can become even more aggressive and violent if it believes it has no hope of gaining respectability.

Despite Dowson now being the fundraiser for the rival "English Democrats", he's been all over the internet promoting Britain First as a patriotic, Christian alternative to both the EDL and the BNP.
One assumes Jim will not be happy this morning to hear that his group's rare outing was hijacked by both the BNP and a host of other far-right extremists including members of the EDL and Eddie Stamton, a devout Hitler admirer and former C18 crank who burned the Saudi flag at the thirty strong demonstration. People also gave Nazi salutes for good measure.

The BNP aligned Toy-town terrorists of the CxF claim to protect the honour of British soldiers.
Doing stupid things like this leads to British soldiers being targeted.
This idiot is Andy Foster from Bishop Auckland.

The demo by the Infidels has now finished and them and their comrades in the NF are searching for a watering hole that will allow them to drink and snort category A drugs.
Connor McCoy was looking forward to the Infidels trip to Sunderland today.
From what I can translate from his facebook page, he was not looking forward to the NF being at his demo though.
He must be gutted. More than half of the boneheads in Sunderland today were from the National Front.
The antifascist march has passed off peacefully.

A demonstration in Sunderland by 150 supporters of the EDL breakaway group the "Infidels" is turning nasty.
Groups of Infidelss from the Noirth East and North West have been joined by the National Front and are throwing firecrackers at antifascists who are also marching.

Nick Griffin found himself back on the television for the first time in ages last week, and for those who have not seen it, you did not miss much.
Griffin still opens his mouth without engaging brain, still has nothing of any substance to say and still goes into these interviews unprepared without facts or figures to back up whatever lies he likes to tell.
The strange thing about Griffin's appearance on BBC Northern Ireland's Nolan Show, was that it was as close to an actual televised debate Griffin has done since his disastrous appearance on Question Time in 2009. And yet, he was still unprepared. Does he somehow believe his charm is all he will need? When ever Griffin gets a public hammering, he begins a bizarre ritual of laughing, rubbing hands and almost cheering on his attackers. On Wednesday night, as he was basically called and proven an idiot, Griffin reverted to form and threw his head back in delight. He really does appear to be a masochist in the absence of even a modicum of acumen. I bet Bonnie Greer was happy she wasn't sitting next to him again.
For the record, Griffin's ridiculous tweet that landed him on the Nolan Show was re-tweeted 1200 times, that's more re-tweets than votes his party actually got in Northern Ireland the last time around. I gave up counting his barefaced lies when he told the program that he would never give a statement to the police!
Bizarrely for the BNP another scandal with an Irish flavour is potentially unravelling down in Torquay. One James Connolly passed away last week aged 93 and there's allegedly one almighty stink about the way the BNP has turned up on his doorstep and apparently taken over the dead man's home. This one will run and run, no doubt...
Elsewhere, the EDL continue to complain that their split heads are some kind of result of undue police brutality. To say their complaints are falling on deaf ears is an understatement. Why on earth people do not believe the lie that the EDL are some kind of peaceful church group would appear to be a mystery to them only.
The English Democrats have picked up a few former BNP bigwigs in their time. Perhaps this explains some rather BNP-esque behaviour from Steve Mcellenborough, one of their senior members on Merseyside.
Not to be silenced, senior EDP member Steve Uncles pressed ahead with the launch of his manifesto for the Police and Crime Commissioner's job in Kent with a brilliantly stage-managed press conference in Kent last Wednesday.
Apparently there was a full room "including the BBC" to hear Uncles explain the English Democrats' polices. I'm making no comment, except for suggesting viewers may wonder how the "packed room" that allegedly included the BBC, managed to sit through this without making a sound. Not one cough, not one question... And then they can perhaps tell us where is the resulting press coverage from the packed conference.
I wasn't even invited!

Here is an interesting thread.
We know that the EDL are made up of violent thugs and career criminals and that some of it's followers collected convictions like others would collect stamps.
Here we have a thread taken from Facebook where several members of the EDL brag about how easy community service is.
Mark Carlton who made the initial post is in reality Mark Johnson from Thurstonland,Huddersfield and is a known Huddersfield Town Football hooligan.
He recieved a 12 month suspended sentence and 200 hours community service after he led a gang of 9 EDL yobs in a violent attack at an anti-racism concert in Leeds last year.
A man who was at the event with his son was hit in the mouth with a missile thrown by a gang member and had a tooth knocked out.
Also on the thread are Jonathan Foy and Joe Harman, both from Leeds who were also convicted at the same time as Mark Johnson.

We like to think we are a friendly bunch at Hope not Hate and we are always prepared to give a little friendly advice to those in need.
For instance, take the rather sad case of Warren Faulkner.
Faulkner from Seaham, County Durham is desperate for his peers to take him seriously and part of that is trying to convince people he isn't a racist Nazi.
Part of the fast shrinking North East Infidels, Warren is keen that the EDL leadership beg for forgiveness and ask their North Eastern cousins in the NEI to help them out in their "crusade" against Islam.
Faulkner's plan follows the recent EDL debacle in Walthamstow that saw Tommy and his gang humiliated on the streets of London.
Posting on the EDL's Facebook page Faulkner states " Yet again the EDL has been bullied when will you listen to us ...we have been to get everyone back together to stop all this "
He continues "You need us back ...listen to what we say we will help if you just ask ......NEI "
However, some EDL members don't seem as keen to welcome Warren and his mates back.
Jenny Baxter from Leeds replies "I have an idea, why don't you attend demos if you want, as an anti-Islam individual, but not as the Nazi NWI/NEI? Sounds like a plan to me. Because as far as i can see, it's you that needs us more than vice versa yes."
A couple of Warren's daft Infidel mates Connor McCoy from Jarrow and Gary Short from Wallsend chip in to help Faulkner out.
Here is our advice Warren,Gary and Connor if you want to convince people you aren't a Nazi I'd stay away from Nazi uniforms and Nazi salutes if I were you.

Back in June we ran an article that reported how Dewsbury EDL had been caught out telling lies about fictitious child abductions.
It was a disgusting attempt to recruit potential supporters to attend their Dewsbury protest that took place in the town in the same month.
The EDL's Dewsbury division started a rumour about Muslim men attempting to abduct two young girls from the local area of Kirklees and claimed that the local population had been forced to keep quiet regarding the abductions.
However, it was all a set of lies from the EDL.
One of the alleged incidents was not reported to the police and the other incident reported was that of a 10 year old girl who had contacted the police after a van driver had tried to talk to her. The girl could not describe the driver and did not say he was of Asian appearance.
Well, Dewsbury EDL have been caught telling fibs yet again, this time regarding a proposed extension to a small mosque in the town.
Dewsbury EDL claimed on their Facebook page that Kirklees Council have given the Westborough based mosque permission to extend the building.
However, Kirklees Council have confirmed that the bid hasn't even been considered yet and has been recommended for refusal.
A council spokeswoman confirmed that the claims of the EDL are simply not true and that the proposal was to go before the planning committee in December.
Can we suggest that Dewsbury EDL rename themselves Pinoccchio Division ?

Let's be fair, the CXF lot aren't the sharpest tools in the toolbox are they?
But when it comes to them being hypocritical they are top of the class.
The CXF, are normally ardent supporters of all British troops making an immediate withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Yet strangely they don't seem to have a problem with their fellow Brits serving in Afghanistan as mercenaries.

Here is a quick question for The English Democrats and their leader Robin Tillbrook.
Why is one of their leading activists from the Liverpool area Steven McEllenborough posing for this photograph in front of a portrait of Adolf Hitler?
McEllenborough was an English Democrat candidate in the Warbeck ward of Liverpool City Council back in May and has previously stood as a parliamentary candidate in the Liverpool Wavertree constituency.
Before his time in the English Democrats, McEllenborough was a BNP activist and candidate which might go some way to explain his political leanings.

Over 100 people attended the HOPE not hate party in Manchester last night. Backed by the Daily Mirror and Unions Together, Labour Party delegates and trade unionists joined HOPE not hate activists at the fantastic Radjoot restaurant, in Manchester's Albert Square.
The evening was a chance to say thank you to all those who had helped us in the past but also to start the discussion about our future work.
The evening was introduced by the Mirror's Kevin Maguire and heard very short speeches from Mirror editor Peter Willis and comedian and HOPE not hate patron Eddie Izzard.
Eddie was, as usual, in fine form as he thanked HOPE not hate for organising the Olympics and bringing the country together. He spoke about the passion of the Olympic volunteers and how this proved that ordinary people will always come together in hope and not hate.
Eddie is a great supporter of the HOPE not hate campaign but I was also really delighted that we could be joined by two other HNH patrons - writer/broadcaster Fiona Phillips and chef Simon Rimmer.
It was great to see some old friends and make some new ones. Former Labour MP Martin Salter popped in and has offered to help out as a volunteer while Glenys Kinnock, who was there with Neil, agreed to become a patron.
In the five years we have been hosting a party conference 'curry' night I have to say that this was probably the most successful. More importantly, it gave us a platform from which we were able to discuss future joint working with the Labour movement.
