Lennon, speaking at the EDL rally yesterday
We can now confirm that EDL leader Stephen Yaxley Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson, was arrested by the police last night, though he has been released this morning and is currently waiting to hear if he will be appearing in front of magistrates for breaking his bail conditions.
This follows his bizarre appearance yesterday at the EDL demo in Aldgate where Lennon initially dressed as a rabbi and taunted the police over his flagrant breach of his bail conditions.
Initially it was thought Lennon was arrested at the demo, however this now appears not to be the case.
The demonstration was supposed to be in Tower Hamlets but they never actually entered the borough, the police keeping them just inside the City of London.

He won't be charged. He is after all, the leader of a British far right organisation, who many folks say is a police grass.
