BREAKING NEWS! The BNP has dipped
posted by: Nick L | on: Friday, 2 May 2008, 16:39
Latest news, with 50% of the votes counted, is that the BNP is currently BELOW the 5% mark.
This is really remarkable and if proved true will be a disaster for Nick Griffin and the BNP.

it looks like a lot of core Labour voters have gone straight over to the Tories for the first time in a generation seriously bad news for Labour but catastrophic for the BNP

was their claim that some of the seals were broken on the ballot boxes before the count started pure fiction?
[Nick responds:
I have no idea what they are/will be claiming but they wouldn't be the BNP if they didn't smell a world conspiracy somewhere along the way!

The BNP would prefer the count to be done by Robert Mugabe anyway.

I see their website is claiming a 'great success', having broken 100 seats nationally

If all the party list votes are going to the Tories then who gets the top-up seats cos the Tories will already have loads of the constituencies so won't win any will they?
[Nick responds:
The parties who who fail to get elected in the constituency section but who get over 5%. In reality, the majority will go to Labour and Lib Dems

Of course, the BNP would say that, Hack. They just don't know how to stop telling lies, even post-election. I could just imagine Griffin at school all those years ago in Halesworth. (Teacher), What is two plus two, Nick? (Griffin) Five, Sir. (Teacher) No, Nick, it's four, go and stand in the corner (Griffin) IT'S MY RIGHT TO SAY THAT IT'S FIVE, YOU ARE A POLITICALLY CORRECT ENEMY OF FREE SPEECH!!

"100 seats nationally" includes all of the Parish and community councillors, mny of which the BNP stand for unopposed. The Vicar of Dibley would not be impressed.
[Nick responds
don't forget that it also includes the egg and spoon winner

can't rest on our laurels...need to kick them when they're down! more of the truth needs to shine through. Rock on.
[Nick responds: Unfortunately that posting was many hours ago and the BNP vote appears to have crept up since then]
