Lewis: One extremist too many, apparently..
The EDL’s political wing the British Freedom Party (BFP), has dumped former BNP candidate Charlotte Lewis after apparently reading our blog about her unsavoury past.
The Party’s London organiser has written to every other blog site that carried/copied our story. We have reproduced one of three communications from the BFP on the topic under the original blog. (It’s been there since this blog first went up.)
By all accounts, Lewis did not mention her past and the BFP thought they had themselves something of a coup in securing her (unwanted) services.
Why the party’s own webmaster Simon Bennett did not mention Charlotte’s past is a bit of a mystery. He could have told his bosses about his ex-colleague’s past, quite easily.
Still, what difference does it make? This is only one violent extremist the party is dumping while at the same time it is filling up with dozens of others.
