Lincoln: Update

While we have our eye on Sheffield we are also monitring several other protests being held around the country.

One of them is an anti Mosque protest in Lincoln, which has been organised by the East Anglian Patriots, which in reality is the EDL.

There is a heavy police presence in the city with a large number of police at the railway station.

Small pockets of protesters roam the city chanting “No More Mosques” while a group of counter protestors gather at speakers corner.

Police have asked local cafes and bars to remove any furniture from outside in case any trouble erupts.
