Just had a call from Sam, our latest recruit to our team, with news of an RMT meeting attended earlier this afternoon. Sam Tarry is co-ordinating our youth and student campaign and was on his way to Blackpool for NUS conference when he stopped off in Preston to speak at the RMT’s North West Regional Council. By all accounts it was a fantastic meeting. The RMT threw their support behind the campaign and promised to get every branch in the region involved on Union Friday on the 15^th May.

Sam’s now on in Blackpool where he’s linking up with the rest of the HOPE not hate team. I look forward to reporting on how they are doing tomorrow.
