No lectures please Mr Griffin

Just heard Nick Griffin whinging on television about being egged at his press conference. I find it slightly ironic that this fascist is bleating on about democracy and freedom of speech.
It wasn't that long ago since the same Mr Griffin was producing a magazine which had a noose on the front cover. Griffin's editorial stated that when they took power the noose would be put around the neck of politicians and journalists who they blamed for multicultural Britain.
Griffin also wrote: “[BNP voters backed] what they perceived to be a strong, disciplined organisation with the ability to back up its slogan ‘Defend Rights for Whites’ with well-directed boots and fists. When the crunch comes, power is the product of force and will, not of rational debate.”
No friend of the democratic process there then!

It's ironic that you mention the democratic process because it would seem you cannot live with the democratic process hence this website. I'm no BNP supporter but the fact is that people trying to distort democracy through various means (including this website) disgust me even more. You actually make a lot of people more sympathetic to the BNP if anything.

although i really do not agree with the BNP or the policies i feel that the scenes from London today were a total disgrace... it is stated above that mr griffin is "bleating on about democracy and freedom of speech2 when clearly he was not afforded that chance today by the "protesters" at the end of the day he has been elected as an MEP by default but an MEP he is and thebehaviour towards him and the assaults that took place were out of order in a country that is always shouting out about "freedom of speech" and "equailty" the phrase practice what you preach comes to mind here. i like many other folk want britain to be great again but doing it through the BNP is not the way and doing it the way those protestors done today is not the way either.

Totally agree. I was totally disgusted that he has become the acceptable face of facism. There is no such thing. He talks about a mob... His lot are the mob who want to disrupt democracy

Greg. I understand your point that real power lies in the democratic process but since when has been campaigning for something that you believe in something worthy of disgust? Is asking like-minded people to sign up to a petition something that you want to discourage?

...and once he stops attacking the 'mob' everyone disperses, he's off to Television Centre where he's invited to talk about immigration where he really means RACE, a completely different thing entirely. As for HnH, we are a pro democracy anti fascist organisation dedicated to getting as many Brits as possible to get out and vote against fascism on election day - something that if Griffin's predecessors had won in 1945 we wouldn't have that right to do anyway. (or even protest against their racist outbursts, again we would have seen another Santiago 1973 or Tiananmen Square 1989) The fact that rather than people voting BNP, people stayed away from the polling stations and that is waht got them elected on Sunday night so no wonder people are angry and frustrated that they got two seats, especially coming so soon after the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the furore over the Gurkhas, which the BNP vociferously opposed. Go to Belfast and see the 'peace lines' and segregated communities, that's exactly what the BNP want for Britain. I don't think that's what we want at all.
