A life sentence

We’re all aware about the poor state of the public finances but it seems that the BNP might also be suffering from a shortage of money. The party has recently launched a scheme to allow members to join for life.
Billed as an “exclusive invitation”, BNP supporters are told that for £500 they can “show their dedication” to the cause. However, days into its launch the scheme is already being discounted to £395.
The advertising flyer calls it a “once in a lifetime opportunity”. But given that the BNP has sent out about 100 begging letters to its supporters this year alone I somehow doubt that anyone taking up this kind offer will not be hearing the sound of Griffin’s collecting tin again before long.
