Clashes in Manchester

There have been some reports of initial clashes in Manchester and a few arrests. 100 EDL attempted to get into Piccadilly Gardens but were shouted down by UAF supporters.
The EDL have been pushed back by police to the Northern Quarter of the city.
However, the bulk of the EDL have so far not arrived in Manchester, with many drinking on the outskirts of the city.
