There are 600 EDL in Piccadilly Gardens, with more on the outskirts of the square. The UAF protest is dwindling fast.
Sky are reporting "rival gangs of Asian and white youths gathered on fringes of Manchester demos - police still working hard to keep them apart."

The UAF protest should have lasted longer, as it sounds like the EDL are preparing for the real reason to visit Manchester, racial warfare. Why are the UAF not hanging around longer to keep the peace through massed presence, from what will seemingly deteriorate into a unpoliced pitched battle between fascists and Asian vigalantes? If the square is left to the far right extremists by pathetic policing, Manchester City Centre will be hell tonight.
