It seems that having been led to Manchester Victoria station the EDL are now being escorted back up to Piccadilly. I don't think everyone in the EDL is too happy with this and there have been some minor skirmishes

They should all be put into special buses and taken to their departure points, rather than being taken to the wrong station. That's just stupid! Most trains southwards and into Cheshire go from Piccadilly, so it's strange that the police service being locally based went to the wrong station. The whole operation must have cost millions of pounds, which I hope the police can claim back from Alan Lake through the civil courts.
