I hope this story ends any illusion that the EDL are against extremism only. Every time they shout "freedom of speech" we should all be aware that like the BNP they are not concerned about anybody elses freedom. Why stop at the Star though? You must be able to push this onto local or national news tonight?

I took a screenshot of the facebook page while it was still up. Six administrators of the page were listed. Their facebook identities are copied below. (Many Edl supporters have taken to putting 'Edl' as part of their facebook name). These identities also feature prominently in other Edl facebook pages, groups, and Edl networks of association: Leeds Infidels Tony Tucker (london). Tucker Halifax Edl Martin Pugh Edl Ben Green Edl NoSurrender Ever (creator) When you explore the facebook friendship networks associated with these identities, it become clear that these six are deeply involved an online facebook Edl network. Many of their facebook associates also have the 'Edl' initials after their names and / or have the st georges or 'crusaders cross' on a shield that has become the Edl symbol. In these networks of association can be found many familiar figures from the Edl's website online forum. The Edl cannot easily disassociate itself from its disgusting attempt to intimidate Julie. They cannot easily cover it up.

How do you know that ALL of the calls where made by EDL members? Do you not think that a lot of people would be upset by her disrupting a 2 minute silence? And if it was not her shouting through the megaphone then it was still one of YOU lefties.

[Nick replies: An EDL supporter set up a facebook page and circulated her details. Many of those shouting abuse and emailing her openly said that they were EDL supporters. Leading members of the EDL - obviously shitting themselves because of potential legal consequences - then began ringing her up to apologise.

The EDL and their supporters are corwards and bullies. This just shows how pathetic they are.

It's funny how she gave an interview with a sky news reporter slagging off the Police on the Saturday and then she gets a few phone calls and goes running to them for protection. Typical Leftie loud mouth. They'll shout and stamp there feet but once there opinions are challenged they run for protection and scream racist. I ask you this, If it was not Julie Keller, then surely you should come clean and name and shame the person who was showing disrespect to our fallen soldiers, otherwise the UAF are just anti-British cowards.

I wish Julie all the best in living life against the backdrop of the death threats, as do all people who loathe fascism and racism. The neo-Nazi have finally come out in their true colours, but it is no surprise, as Trevor Kelway has many hardline Waffen SS insignia-using, Hitler-worshipping friends on Facebook such as BNP candidate Frank Atack from Dewsbury. Maybe the government will take notice, and instigate an immediate state of emergency in Leeds and ban the march, for if it is likely to go ahead, and the death threats are more than words, there could be blood on the streets on Leeds, and even murder. If Copeland wasn't in jail, he would undoubedtly been one of the people sending in death threats, and seeking to carry them out. Cowardly fascist EDL lowlifes were looking for any excuse to test the waters to see what they could get away with. Everything is electronically traceable, even Facebook, so to quell conspiracy theories of secret service collusion in the EDL, the CIA and the FBI MUST insist Facebook hand over all of the details of who makes the death threats so the British police can arrest them and the courts can lock them up for the public's safety for a very long period of time, hopefully ten years each. Failure for the government, secret services and the forces of law and order to trace, capture, arrest and jail the person or persons who made the death threats, will ultimately be in effect, the EDL's licence to shoot, stab, maim or kill. The EDL have been viewed until now by the BBC even (not just the Daily Star) as a bit of a joke. Did anybody from Hope Not Hate see the "Under The Skin of the EDL" documentary on Newsnight the other day? It just about rendered the EDL harmless. The Emporer's New Nazis have finally let their UDA-style face-masks slip and everybody including the media should now see the EDL in the cold light of day as one of the biggest Nazi threats to hit the shores of Britain since Oswald Mosley. The media should stop calling them "Anti-Islamic extremist protestors" and start calling them WHITE SURVIVALIST TERRORISTS for that's what they are. Capitalising on the decaying incluence of Nick Griffin's BNP, using well-organised secrecy, and just like Adolf Hitler's National-Socialist Party of Germany, they are regarded as "just a bunch of young football chavs", while in truth, they are singing from a far more deadly "hymn sheet", that of hardcore fascism. Alan Lake needs to be examined in a official Interpol police investigation, for he apparently has links to many white pride organisations worldwide, which is all so strange when he shunned formal links with the BNP. Thanks to their cunning and devous plan to hide their dangerous hardcore fascism behind a far less immediately harmful front of football hooliganism, the EDL have enjoyed a six month headstart on the government and police. The government recently warned of a far right terror plot, and unless they are investigated, and the culprits of the death threats are jailed, the EDL are likely to up the ante, and see how far they can push the boat out, starting in Leeds on Saturday the 31st of October, unless the EDL can be speedily proscribed as a terrorist threat to Britain. Just one more point, electronic propaganda, after the Sky News online article, are several neo0-Nazi troll posts which rather than condemning the EDL and their death threats, has the sheer bloody audacity to attack Searchlight. Until media organisations wake up to the fact the "worldwide white power movement" have armies of keyboard warriors who alert each other via Stormfront to post under dozens of fake aliases on every story involving the far right, free speech is being abused, and unwottingly a small number of neo-Nazi web surfers are now speaking on everyone's behalf.

Sadly, this is how the EDL conducts its business - threateningly. When it comes up against an opposing point of view its gut reaction is to use any means necessary to crush that viewpoint with whatever it takes, and to proclaim itself as the king of the castle. Death threats are not needed, I admit this. However, even if it wasn't Julie disrupting the 2 minutes silence some members of the UAF are. Is Miss Keller going to take responsibility for her groups actions and apologise to the EDL (A group which includes many veterans of the armed forces), the family and friends of those who died in Iraq and Afghanistan who the UAF disrespected and also the members of the public including the Greater Manchester Police who had to witness a minutes silence being disrupted by UAF activists. I'm sure if Julie Keller can apologise for her groups actions then I'm sure the English Defence League can apologise for the actions of a few members of our organisation too.

Julie does not have to apologise for anything. She had not done what she was accused of and yet she has been subjected to over 100 (yes, they are continuing) threats to her and her family from cowards and bullies.

Their actions speak volumes. And, for the record, to say that it is just a few 'members' of the EDL is yet another lie. Some of those issuing the death threats are senior members, including one who boasts of ousting Luton's Tommy Robinson from the leadership.

I wonder if 'Tommy Robinson' and Kelway has any degree of control over the organisation (irony) they claim to lead? One of them seems to be saying black the other white (a common trait in many far right organisations.) It looks to me as there is some sort of BNP-style power struggle in the English Defence League, with every single member wanting to be in Robinson and Kelway's shoes.

If I pop down to Picadilly now, and go quiet for a couple of minutes without telling anyone, and then accuse those who speak of being 'anti british', it wouldn't be that different to be honest. Of course everyone cares about dead soilders. Stop being so wet. I thought you were meant to be big men. Get off you tube, get off facebook, and actually try to engage in debate with some of these people you are carelessly slandering will you. You might get a shock.....

Thanks Nick for allowing the EDL's army of trolls to come out in their true colours, playing down the death threats and continuing to slander Julie. Let's hope the government will see sense and ban the EDL march in Leeds, as they are becoming more like the UDA day by day, with their so-called "punishment beatings" against opponents on trumped-up charges. I do not understand why ASBOs are never given to EDL neo-Nazi thuds to stop them from travelling around the country with inpunity.
