Having watched tonight's Question Time I was relieved to discover just what a bad speaker Nick Griffin is. Moreover he came over as a sweaty, shifty creep who couldn't own up to the things he had said in the past. The West London audience was pretty lively and up for it. All in all it wasn't a good night for the BNP. So if this is the best they can do maybe the BBC should arrange for them to have a national tour of Britain where they can have tonight's humiliation piled upon them one hundredfold! This kind of public exposure may, after all, be the best antidote to the BNP.

To be fair, it was a mainstream party stitch-up which has back-fired (not quite as Peter Hain would have us believe) on all those who espouse free-speech and fairness. Even Mr Dimbleby couldn't help but join in, would (the just as creepy) Mr Straw like quotes of his from his Communist past presented to him verbatim in the manner that Mr Griffins were? I'm sure Mr Straw would say 'that was a long time ago' too! I think he deseves to be invited on again and treated with as much respect as the other speakers and then listeners will pay as much attention to him as the occasional racist ranter you come across in pubs! I enjoyed his point about NOT being responsible for hundreds of thousands of Muslim deaths in ILLEGAL wars. He has less blood on his hands than Mr Straw!!
