Thanks

I've been inundated with messages of thanks following Saturday's amazing Day of Action. Among them are two from trade unions who both mobilised their members:

"Just to say from our HnH staff group a big thanks to you and everyone who helped organise such a successful day on Saturday. I understand 530 people turned up and 70,000 newspapers were delivered. It was really uplifting to see so many people there. Billy Bragg was good AND the curry was delicious!" – Unison HQ.

"Just want to say well done to everyone for organising such a fantastic and uplifting day.

"There was a good turnout from NUT colleagues around London and those I spoke to said they felt proud to part of something so big and well organised.

"I am in no doubt that the residents of Barking and Dagenham have got the message that vote for the BNP is a vote for hatred and division.

"Keep up the good work."

Alex Kenny (NUT Executive member for inner London)
