Trumka calls for HOPE not hate

Just had a message from my friend Liz from Philadelphia to say that Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO, has just given a speech in Florida where he spoke against racism, homophobia and the politics of hate. He concluded by saying “we’re fighting for hope not hate.”
Our message is spreading…!

Tonight millions of anti-fascists world wide will be mourning the passing of one of this country's greatest post war writers Alan Sillitoe. A life long anti-fascist last year at the height of one of our Hope not hate campaigns he sent in one of of our support cards, in bold lettering it just said Alan Sillitoe I support you.
