We are over halfway there

Yesterday afternoon I sent out an email asking for 149 people to join me on Bank Holiday Monday in Barking & Dagenham to help deliver leaflets in our six target wards.

I’ve had a really fantastic response, with 82 people already signing up. With many others promising to come offline I’m confident that we will, at the very least, hit our target, if not greatly exceed it. And don’t worry, we’ve learnt our lesson from last time when we ran out of newspapers for people to deliver. While we are hoping for 150 people we’ll have materials for a lot more than that in case our numbers swell again.

Our Day of Action in Stoke-on-Trent also looks as though it is going to be a well-attended event. So far we have 25 people signed up, with more expected to join them from several of our local anti-BNP groups from across the North West and Midlands. In total we are looking to have 100 people out and deliver 20,000 newspapers. If we achieve this then it will easily be our biggest mobilisation in the city.

Barking & Dagenham and Stoke-on-Trent are our two national priorities so I would really urge you to make the effort to attend one of these events. You can sign up here:
