Next summer the Searchlight Educational Trust is putting on a sponsored walk up Kilimanjaro to raise money for a youth and community organising project we hope to set up later in the year.

This event is genuinely remarkable. I find it amazing that you are promoting physical fitness, but to really challenge people. This event is going to help people with fund raising, but also provides a sense of community within the team. This event, outside of a city area is wonderful to see. It is different than most and provides a sense of reassurance for other events to show that they can be promoted in different areas. Also, being in less populated areas will broaden the area of response for the organization and also include more people who don't always have those opportunities.
