Steve Uncles: NHS hero and hater of all things Irish

We don’t focus as much on the English Dems as we used to, despite them being up to their neck in racism and Islamphobia.

But, we do have our favourites. One of those is serial clown Steve Uncles, who has had his legal difficulties of late.

We would like to take this opportunity to say “well done” to Uncles on his recent commendation for bravery, which was awarded to him at a ceremoney at New Scotland Yard. Probably his first trip to a police station without being in handcuffs for a while.

The beauty of the National Health Service is as well as its brilliance, its diversity. Without immigrants working in it from top to bottom, it would simply collapse.

So it is somewhat of a surprise to find that Uncles works as a Contract Manager for the Guys and St Thomas NHS trust, a trust that covers one of the most diverse parts of London.

As well as being a notorious bore, Uncles hardly embraces the ethos of a diverse and dynamic health service. In particular, he has a long time hatred of the Irish and a rather bizarre phobia of Muslims, which one must assume includes the thousands of Muslim doctors and nurses who work in the NHS.
