EDL's leader in waiting stands down

Davey Russell has been a big man around town of late. He's appeared from nowhere to push himself to the front of the queue of people willing to take over the leadership of the English Defence League (EDL).
Russell goes by the "stage" name of 'DJ Bossman' for his internet radio show. Over the last few months he has been the main and most angry speaker at the diminishing EDL's rallies.
Over the weekend it seems he bit off more than he could chew when he decided to get lippy with Britain First's bin-clad leader Paul Golding.
What started off as a friendly exchange of text messages ended up with Golding deciding he was going to take his motley crew of uniformed thugs the short distance to Herne Bay in Kent, and confront the gobby DJ on his doorstep.
Whatever has happened, Russell has decided to "take some time out.." stating "It's all too much for me."
So much for No Surrender.
