Equality for some

Martyn Findley, one of the two BNP councillors elected to Nuneaton and Bedworth council last May, is clearly in need of some instruction on his own party’s policies.

A meeting of the council’s Overview Joint Scrutiny Commission on 16 March listened to a presentation from the council’s equalities officer. In the discussion that followed, Findley asked the chairman: "Can you assure me that at no time in the past this Council has or in the future will discriminate for or against any candidate for a job in any way whatsoever?" He was pleased to report that, "The Chair gave reassurances that it had never happened".

BNP policy on the economy is outlined on the party’s website and is unambiguous. The party will "call for preference in the job market to be given to native Britons". There’s discrimination and there’s discrimination, clearly.
