THE leader of Britain's Nazi party, the November 9th Society has been back in court at the Old Bailey on race hate charges.

Kevin Quinn, 40, of Ouseland Road, Bedford, is charged with five other people with publishing a magazine for the Racial Volunteer Force, an offshoot of the neo-nazi organisation Combat 18.

It is also claimed they were involved in advertising the group's aims of racial intolerance, revolution and use of violence on their website.

Their targets are said to be Jewish, Muslim and black people living in Britain.

Appearing alongside Mr Quinn were Nigel Piggins, 39, from Hull, Jonathan Hill, 33, from Oldham, Steven Bostock, 27, from Manchester, Michael Denis, 30, from Tooting and Elizabeth Hunt, 36, of Southport, Merseyside.

All are charged with conspiracy to publish and distribute material intended to stir up racial hatred.

They also face a lesser charge of conspiracy to publish or distribute material likely to stir up racial hatred between August 1, 2002 and October 31, 2003.

Bail

Mr Quinn is also charged with two counts of publishing or distributing the November Ninth booklet 'The Longest Hatred' and possession of the booklet with a view to distribution to stir up racial hatred on July 2, 2003.

Some of the others also face additional charges.

All were granted conditional bail to return to court on April 14 for a plea and directions hearing.
