A pensioner from East Sussex has appeared in court charged with inciting a member of the British National Party to make a dangerous explosive.

Allen Boyce, 73, of Old Orchard Road, Eastbourne denied inciting Terry Collins, 27, to make the explosive under suspicious circumstances.

He also denied on Friday inciting Mr Collins to cause an explosion likely to endanger life or damage property.

Lewes Crown Court remanded him on bail until February to await trail.

The explosive substance was said to be a mixture of potassium chlorate and sulphur.
