A racist who hurled abuse at an Asian woman has said he will not fight his conviction.BNP member Robert McGlynn was found guilty of racially aggravated disorderly conduct after being spotted making racist gestures and remarks to an Asian woman standing at a pedestrian crossing in Bridge Street, Dyfatty.
In a rare case the victim was absent and completely unknown, and police used the evidence of a sole witness to bring the charges against him.
McGlynn, who is a member of the far-right British National Party, had protested his innocence, claiming the woman witness had been mistaken.
Swansea receptionist Lydia Rees said she was shocked to hear him shout what she took to be "Paki whore" and "Sieg Heil" at the woman through his open car window.
Mrs Rees followed him to a nearby garage in her own car, took down his registration number and reported him to the police.
Although detectives were unable to trace the Asian woman, they decided to press charges based on Mrs Rees's evidence.
The 40-year-old, of Samlet Road, Llansamlet, had initially said he was considering appealing against the sentence.
But McGlynn has now admitted he has changed his mind, claiming he did not think he would be given a fair hearing.
"I have decided not to appeal as I feel there is no justice in the courts system of this country," he added.
