NF activist guilty of race abuse

A 75-year-old National Front member has been convicted of racially aggravated harassment towards a British woman of Greek descent.

Thomas Holmes, of Reynolds Avenue, Caister, Norfolk, told the woman in Great Yarmouth to "go home to Pakistan", Norwich Crown Court heard.

The incident happened when Holmes was canvassing for the local government elections in April last year.

The case was adjourned to 23 November for pre-sentence reports.
