Councillor misses meetings – claim

A Keighley Town Councillor who was elected on a BNP ticket is to be reported after missing six consecutive town council meetings.

Keighley Mayor, Cllr Graham Mitchell, pointed out the non-attendance of Town Cllr Angela Clarke at a recent town council meeting He said he intended to report her absence to the Democratic Services department at Bradford City Hall.

Cllr Clarke, of Bankfield Drive, Braithwaite, stood down from representing Keighley West ward on Bradford Council for the BNP in February, but still represents Guard House ward on the town council.
