Sky One parades BNP wife

Tonight's Sky One programme on women in the BNP, part of its Wives series, is unlikely to reveal much that is new. The documentary was in the can well before the crisis in the BNP broke last month.
A review in The Times says the programme has had difficulty recruiting any actual wives to be interviewed. "The only true BNP family on show is that of Nick Cass, the political manager of the party. His wife Suzy looks after their three children – her contribution to what she sees as a necessary rise in the white birth rate – and toes the party line, spouting fearful predictions of Britain becoming an Islamic state. It's hardly Louis Theroux, though."
Unfortunately for the programme makers, Nick Cass was sacked as party manager last autumn, in typical BNP style, two minutes before a meeting. He had proved totally unsuited to an administration and management job and was made a scapegoat for the incompetence of Dave Hannam, the BNP's regional treasurer. Hannam's inability to do his job was one of the main issues that led to the present split in the BNP.
There might be a few gems emerging from the mouths of the BNP's women. The hour-long programme is on Sky One tonight (Thursday) at 21.00.
