Plataforma per Catalunya (PxC)

Founder: Josep Anglada (who was expelled in March 2014, accused of embezzling from the party)

President: August Armengol

Founded 5 April 2002, PxC is a Catalan party that describes itself as ‘Identitarian’ as opposed to nationalist. Anti-immigration and anti-Islamist, PxC has had links with Bloc Identitaire (BI) in France, the Vlaams Belang (VB) in Belgium and the British National Party (BNP) in the UK, as well as praising the Greek nazi Golden Dawn for its electoral successes.

In the 2015 elections, the party won just eight council seats, well down from the 67 it won in 2011.

On 23 April 2016 PxC formed a new organisation, Federacion Respeto, together with Espana 2000 and Partido por la Libertad. Tatjana Festerling from Pegida participated at the foundation meeting in Tarragona.

PxC participated at an Alternative for Germany (AfD) meeting in Munich in March 2017.
